Hello World

In the most stereotypical developer / person who can program fashion - I am remaking a personal website just for my own fun. The main reason I am doing this is because I would like to work on my writing skills. Good writing is important for communication, naturally, but the process of writing itself forces us to translate a topic or idea into a language we can understand. It is a tool of understanding as well as communication. That being said, I am not particularly good at it. I don't do it very often. It's not part of my work or my hobbies. Hence, I am wanting to write more and thus sprucing up this website.

I am using marmite as a static website generator. This is taking over the previous site that was built with hugo. I just wanted an easy way to make a homepage and write in Markdown files. You can do that in hugo, but that is pretty much all you can do in marmite so it is excellent at it.
